The rider Glaucus Valery conspires against the emperor Nero, but an attempt to assassinate Caesar during his vacation in a villa in Capua fails. The prefect of the Praetorians, Tigelinus, who is pursuing the conspirators, discovers free gladiators heading to Rome, led by the lanist Rezius. Mistaking them for conspirators, he arrests the travelers. Nero sentences the “criminals” who appeared before his eyes to death in the arena. Conan the Destroyer
Conan is commissioned by the evil queen Taramis to safely escort a teen princess and her powerful bodyguard to a far away castle to retrieve the magic Horn of Dagon. Unknown to Conan, the queen plans to sacrifice the princess when she returns and inherit her kingdom after the bodyguard kills Conan. The queen's plans fail to take into consideration Conan's strength and cunning and the abilities of his sidekicks: the eccentric wizard Akiro, the wild woman Zula, and the inept Malak.
