A man owes Red $100 and the man implies that Red take a girl that works for him, in a trade for the money that he owes Red. Whit (Red calls him Hoss) is taken by Red (his uncle) to a whorehouse (to get his nephew laid) where sex is implied. Red wakes up in bed with a young girl (16 years old), its implied that they had sex. They're shoulders are seen. Sensual dialogue.

A crazy woman who thinks she's being robbed shoots at a "robber." A boy steals chickens and a farmer shoots at him as he runs off. A man with an unloaded shotgun holds up a guy who owes him money and a few gamblers. One gambler tries to grab him, but he is triped up and knocked out with the gun barrell.
