- Back to the Future Part III is an action adventure comedy sequel in which a man travels back in time to save his friend. Violence: A character is caught in a noose which causes him to choke, before he is hauled up and briefly hanged, but he is quickly rescued. There is also a shooting and some blows to the face. Language: There is mild bad language including use of 'sonofabitch', 'shit' and 'asshole'.

Violence & Gore
mildMarty punches Mad Dog in the face a few times in the end, and he falls into a gravestone. The films main setting is in the wild west. Thus characters shoot at each other and get into fist fights. No blood is shown. The death of a main character is mentioned and partially implied. One of the characters is thought to be dead at one point during a pistol duel. A young man has a whip thrown around him and is dragged around the street. He then has the rope thrown around his neck and is hung. He is briefly seen choking but the rope is shot and he survives. At the end, the DeLorean is hit and crushed by a train, but no one is injured.
