Sex & Nudity

There are two brief instances where women's breasts are shown. Eddie saves Evelyn from glass falling down on her and Evelyn thinks that he is trying to sexually touch her and calls Eddie a pervert. The nude backsides of two women are seen from afar then zoomed in on in one of Prices's hallucinations while he is in the saturation chamber. Two women's breasts are also shown while price has hallucinations.


Violence & Gore

Some pretty disturbing images of torture are shown throughout the film. Brief, but pretty disturbing. During the opening scene a doctor begins slowly cutting open a patient while he is awake, the patient screams in agony and blood oozes out of the incesion. Another character is stabbed in the neck with pencils, this is shown up close as blood pours out of his neck and mouth. Patients take over a hospital attacking nurses and the head doctor. A man jumps in a tank filled with blood. A man is stabbed several times in the stomach with a scaple with bloody results, his body is later found beheaded. A woman is killed by a ghost, most is shown off camra but some is shown on her camcorder and other characters find puddles of her blood, later in the film her body parts are shown on display in a closet. A man is shot several times in the chest, but is later revealed to be wearing a bulletproof vest. A man beats his wife, she is later killed by the ghosts, they kill her by sucking the life out of her leaving a dried up looking corpse. The husband is killed in the same way but his dried up body breaks apart.

A woman is nearly drowned in a vat of blood.A black "mass" can be seen many times throughout the film, which sucks in the bodies of those around it and corrodes the bodies. For nearly three minutes a man in the film is driven to the point of insanity, and suffers a terrifying hallucination. The protagonist tries to murder his wife. Various suspenseful scenes can be found throughout the film depicting characters wandering throughout the basement of the asylum, meeting their demise. Overall, the movie is VERY intense. From start to end. Several jump scenes.
