Sex & Nudity

none

A black and white photo of a murder victim shows a woman in her bra (later, we briefly see this victim in person). Man & Woman kisses in few scenes. A man gets stopped attacking people.

Violence & Gore

moderate

A man is shocked by an electrical current and is knocked unconscious, but isn't killed. A man punches Frank and then kicks him in a men's restroom. Frank then punches this man in the crotch, but the man then punches Frank in the face again (knocking him unconscious). He then prepares to kill him via strangulation, but some people walk in and interrupt him. A man visits a murder scene (a body with some blood is seen). A man gets his hand shot (blood is shown), then dies. Some other scenes of intense fighting.

Profanity

moderate

Some cursing. 4 uses of shit 3 paired with bull 1 paired with jack 3 uses of shit ( 1 used with bull), 4 uses of "hell", 2 uses of goddamn, 3 "asses" 2 with hole, 4 uses of damn, 2 "Jesus". And another very few minor profanities.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

moderate

A guy is seen drinking in some scenes. Frank smokes more than 10 times, although he eventually gives it up (from John telling him about the dangers). Despite that, John smokes around 10 times. Meanwhile, various cops and other miscellaneous/background characters also smoke. The smoking in this film is pretty heavy by the two main characters (especially since on of them is a fire man) and others. There's some occasional drinking too.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

moderate

Shows a human skeleton unearthed from mud by detectives. A woman is shown lying on the bed dead with cloths displaced. Facing an imminent explosion, Frank climbs down into a tunnel, tries to rescue a trapped man before a live electrical cable hits the water they're standing in, and get out of the tunnel before an explosion gets them. Frank is in a burning building and forced to make a decision of how to exit the building that could end his life this could be to intense for some. The final scene where Jack Shepard breaks into the house (future and past) and tries to kill Frank and John may be frightening to some.
