In a ship's bunk, photos on the wall, however no detail can be seen. One can assume that the photos are women but movie cameraman never focuses the clarity of such small posters. Another ship's bunk, where naked women are seen but out of focus (not real clear) in pictures (on the bunk's wall), for a few seconds. Some sexual dialogue including 2 vulgar sexual uses of "f**k."


Violence & Gore

A man punches another man in the face twice. A small amount of blood trickles from his nose. There's an intense battle scene between two submarines, and one fires torpedoes at the other. The other submarine dodges, and the torpedoes explode. There's another submarine battle, and one of them blows the other up, but is damaged by a torpedo the other sub fired. A brief fight between two men breaks out in a galley on a submarine, and they push each other and struggle, but are interrupted. There's a fire in a submarine galley, and a small explosion occurs. Men are reduced from the galley, and one is seen with a bloody nose. A man dies after heavy smoke inhalation from a fire. On a few occasions, men hold other men at gunpoint. A man treats a bloody cut on another man's head. A man is held at gunpoint by another man, and he punches the man in the face and steals his gun (the man has a bloody nose). Two mens struggle to fix a mechanical issue in a flooding room on a submarine. A piece of metal hits a man in the head, knocking him out, and much blood is seen in the water. The men are locked in the room, and drown.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

3 seamen trapped inside a flooded sub's compartment that has been sealed by a fellow sailor. The three are seen floating and drowned. There are two scenes where torpedoes are launched at the submarine, nearly hitting it. The film includes a scene of the submarine sinking after losing power during a battle with a Russian submarine. There is a prolonged scene of the crew trying to repair the submarine before it reaches crush depth. This includes a crew member having to shut others inside a flooding compartment under orders. He is shown to be under emotional duress and the crew members inside the compartment drown. The entire sequence is prolonged and very tense. Some of the cussing is abrupt and pronounced, this may disturb younger children. The threat of nuclear warfare is constant throughout the film. War footage of Chechnya shown, with the aftermath of civilians being bombed. A man on exam table after a heart attack, gets a few electric shocks using a defibrillator. He is then given mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, but eventually declared is dead. There's a large standoff with guns in the command room on a submarine.
