moderateA woman has her top unbuttoned and her underwear pulled off while she is sleeping. Only her bare legs, stomach and hips are seen. A sleeping woman has her blouse unbuttoned by invisible hands and one of her breasts is clearly visible. Her breast is groped for some seconds until she wakes up. The scene is disturbing as soon one realizes it is not a nightmare but an explicit abuse. A man's tip of the penis is seen during a procedure, he is naked but covered in sheets. Multiple shots of full frontal male nudity. One shot is the man seen in heat vision. The others are CGI renderings of the man as he goes invisible. None of the shots are sexual in nature. There is a rape scene. The attack is implied and not actually shown, but still disturbing. On two occasions a woman's bare breasts are shown: once from a distance and then in a prolonged shot as she gets ready after a showering. A man's nude buttocks are briefly seen. Some sensual moments (making out, groping, sex talk, etc). A man's penis is seen as he is walking in thermal vision, and before that briefly, though partially obscured.

severeA man creates an improvised bomb with lab chemicals. He throws a small vial of liquid as a test, which creates a violent explosion. A man is bitten on the arm by an invisible gorilla. The puncture wounds are very deep and bloody. A man schedules an animal to be vivisected. This is not shown, only implied. A man smashes a woman's face into a pipe. We see a large open cut on her forehead. He later steps on her throat, attempting to choke her to death. A woman's shoulder gets cut by a rapidly-moving elevator when she tries to get out of its way. A man is thrown off an overhead pipe and cuts his carotid artery on a metal outcropping. Blood sprays from his neck and he slowly bleeds to death. Very bloody and intense. A man gets impaled through the chest with a crowbar; Somewhat bloody. Another man is stabbed in the abdomen with the same weapon; we see several closeups of the deep wound. A woman is shot in the chest with a tranquilizer before her neck is snapped. A woman is strangled, mostly off-screen. We later see her dead body fall out of a locker. There is a close-up of her bloodshot eyes. A man is repeatedly burned with a blowtorch, struck over the head with a crowbar, and electrocuted. All this happens in a short span of time. A man is drowned in his pool by another man. An invisible gorilla picks up a rat and bites its head off. Very startling and bloody. A man picks up a dog and smashes the dog against the interior wall of their crate. The scene is shown through a thermal camera but is nonetheless very messy and disturbing. The entire floor of a storeroom is seen covered in blood. A man falls to his death down a fiery elevator shaft.

Frightening & Intense Scenes
severeA boardroom is shown a footage of a gorilla turning invisible. The gorilla is only halfway invisible, exposing much muscle tissue, bone, and internal organs and appears to be in great pain. There are several moments where animals are killed or put in painful circumstances (i.e. invisibility transformation.) Definitely upsetting for animal lovers. Some may be disturbed by the transformation scenes where humans and animals disappear or reappear layer by layer. A woman is raped by an invisible man. The attack isn't shown beyond him grabbing her and her screaming in terror, but the sequence of him entering her apartment and stalking her immediately beforehand is drawn out and extremely tense as the viewer knows what's about to happen. The Invisible Man becomes partially visible during the final scene, in which he fights basically skinless. Can be disturbing for some viewers. The final half hour is particularly intense, when many characters get killed off one by one in slasher movie style.
