severe

There are a lot of scenes depicting drug use such as LSD, cocaine, peyote, and pot. A lot of discussion about drugs. In many scenes Jim Morrison is obviously high on drugs or is drunk.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

moderate

There are many scenes that play out like an odyssey. So while it's not particularly frightening it can be very surreal and uncomfortable at times. Not many frightening/intense scenes. But the most intense scene would be when Pamela Morrison is locked in a closet and Jim sets it on fire.
