Sex & Nudity

mild

Mild teenage-level sexuality references throughout film. Mild scenes of teenage characters kissing passionately. Very quick and dark view of bare breasts during a dream scene. Nipples are visible for a moment. Very brief animation on a computer screen of skeletons doing a lambada-type dance. Two very brief shots of women in slightly transparent t-shirts. Non-explicit scenes of teen boys showering. One boy is chased out of the shower and his bare butt is briefly visible. Brief shot of a repairman with visible buttcrack. Aside from this, there is no male nudity. An explicit personals ad is read aloud, and some phone responses garnered by the ad are heard. Played for laughs.

Violence & Gore

mild

Boy gets beaten by his angry mother. A stereo is smashed with a baseball bat. No further instances of violence toward home appliances. Someone fires a flare gun at a security guard, but only to frighten them away.

Profanity

mild

Infrequent use of the word "shit" and derivatives. One instance of "fucked" in non-sexual context. Milder swearing throughout.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

mild

No drugs. Mild alcohol use. One chain-smoking teenager serves as a running joke throughout the film. At one point he is shown hiding his smoking from his mother, at another he has a cigarette in each hand while telling how he hacked into a banks system. Teen smoking and drinking coffee at an addicts meeting. Copious amounts of caffeine.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

none

Nothing apart from the dramatic effect of one teenage character having his mother's safety verbally threatened by the villain.
