The main plotline is about a young boy who is grieving over his grandfather's death, leading him to try to find God. The entire film is an emotional rollercoaster. While most of it is sad and tearjerking, some of it is extremely happy. Many viewers will cry at some point during the film. A young boy with epilepsy (previously undiagnosed) has a pretty violent seizure. A young boy who appears in a few scenes is revealed to be an angel.
