There are scenes in which people of colour are being beat up as they pass through the neighbourhood on their bikes. Blood is seen. Violence is tamer than in Scorsese's gangster films. On edge of PG-13 and R rating. R: Gore, alcohol and drug use, compulsive gambling, involving gangsters, Graphic violence and language with a child present. Graphic violence with the gore in this movie. This movie contains sequences of strong graphic violence, gore, alcohol and drugs, drug dealing, money laundering, hoodlums and gangsters and graphic language. watch this movie responsibly. Two men are shot in the head. Blood spurts from their heads Bikers fight gangsters with bats and bottles. A man gets shot in the arm with blood shooting out. He is then shot in the head. (We see blood spurt). A group of black kids enter a white neighborhood and are beaten with sticks. The ending can be quite confronting for some viewers. A place where people of colour frequent is burnt down with molotovs. An unbroken molotov is thrown back at the perpetrators who are in a car, & their car catches on fire, leading to their death. Post attack, the boys are seen under sheet covers with smoke being emitted from their burnt bodies from parts that are not fully covered such as their hands. Sony is shot in the head in the middle of a crowd. The scene is pretty rough.

Relatively tame for a gangster/crime films, very mild for an R rated film
