violence: There are prolonged boxing scenes, which include repeated blows to the head and body. There is some injury detail and blood in the aftermath of violence. There is mild bad language ('freakin', 'ass', 'crap'), as well as milder terms ('hell', 'damn', 'butt'). There are also mild sex references, upsetting scenes in which a man dies and his funeral is shown, as well as scenes in which a man consumes alcohol and smokes and which do not promote or encourage the activity. A man makes brief discriminatory remarks, including to black people as 'coloured'; however, these are not condoned by the film as a whole.

Sex & Nudity

none

No Sex. No Nudity but dancers are wearing very scantily outfits (like thong like). 4 barely dressed women ringside throughout fight with HULK. They wiggle to try and be sexy but they look like they have to pee. Mr. T says If your wife wants to see a real man, tell her to come to my place tonight."

Violence & Gore

moderate

This film has heavier bloody boxing violence than any of the Rocky movies. Rocky faces world wrestling champion (Hulk Hogan) in a charity event. Multiple times of harmful wrestling moves are used to beat Rocky, yet he never seems to be in extreme pain or shows cuts or bruising. Rocky is thrown out the ring. He then uses his bare knuckles to hit Hulk Hogan. The boxing match between Clubber and rocky is brutal. Rocky hits Clubber but he shows no pain. Clubber comes back and brutally beats Rocky and he gets many cuts across his face. In the next round he is knocked out. In the rematch both beat each other and Rocky manages to knock out Clubber but has a few cuts on his face. Clubber Lang(Mr T) pushes Rocky's trainer, he has a weak heart and later dies.

Profanity

mild

Other slightly stronger profanities a few uses bullsh*t, and a*s. Includes "hell" and "damn"

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

mild

smoking and drinking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

moderate

The film is more dramatic and sadder than the first two. Character is dying while another is being brutally beaten. Ends with man screaming in agony over the body of the character who just died. Clubber Lang talks aggressively throughout. Mickey gets pushed by Mr. T which triggers him having a heart attack. He dies with his last words to Rocky "I love you, kid". Rocky lost the first fight against Clubber Lang due to Mickey quitting. Whilst training with Apollo Creed, depressed Rocky fails each task due to Mickey's death.
